Serving Educating Advocating for Aging Adults
The 2026 Senior Housing Directory helps you prepare for your next long-term housing decisions, with an added focus on the solo ager. Whether it’s in-home care or moving to a facility for support, you now have a tool that can make evaluating your housing options easier. This guide examines the differences in care, how to cover the costs for care, as well as helps you design a checklist for your needs. Also read about the role of the caregiver, choosing your advocate, and developing your advance directives.
Healthy Aging is a new publication coming this fall. We will address prevention, new options for care, documentation, and covering costs for care. We will address Medicare, Medicaid, and even VA options. This is the perfect compliment to the annual Senior Housing Directory. Reach out to schedule to be a part of this new look at healthy aging.
Senior Times Central seeks to have a positive impact on the communities we serve. We seek to offer information to the reader that allows them to make their own choices regarding a variety of issues from health care to daily living. We strive to share activities happening across our service area to help community members find ways to get involved and to enjoy the community they call home.
Senior Times seeks to help mature adults enjoy their aging years but also to learn about resources available for the changes that are yet to come. Senior Times searches for ways to advocate for the mature adult and to provide valuable information that will help them to plan for future decisions.
The Senior Housing Directory was later introduced as an extension of Senior Times to focus specifically on housing related issues. This annual publication helps to evaluate housing options, including the choice of remaining in their long-time home by making necessary changes. Planning documents are addressed as well.
Healthy Aging is a new publication coming this fall, which will address all the ways that we can age more healthfully. Healthy Aging will address concerns from prevention to new care options for acute and chronic conditions, as well as Medicare, Medicaid, and VA services.
